3rd Annual Creek County Bar Association Chili Cook-Off

On February 5, 2009, the Creek County Bar Association celebrated its 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off at the Law Office of Dana J. Barnett in Bristow, Oklahoma. We had a terrific turn-out and enjoyed some good camaraderie with our members and guests, including several special ladies from the Creek County Court Clerk's Office. This year, our distinguished chili Judges, Judge April Sellers White, Mike Jones, and Max Cook, selected both a non-traditional winner (Hawaiian Chili prepared by the Law Office of Lauren Lester Allison) and a traditional winner (Homemade Traditional Chili prepared by Connie Filbeck). Our winners will represent the Creek County Bar Association in University of Tulsa College of Law Chilifest Cook-Off, scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Allen Chapman Activity Center at the University of Tulsa. The Creek County Bar Association would like to thank our hostess, Dana J. Barnett, for sharing her office for this event, our chili Judges for volunteering both their time and tastebuds, Vice President J.V. Frazier for arranging free chair massages for all attendees, and all members and guests for making this year's event a fun-filled evening for all! Enjoy the pictures!
